Three of a kind: a three of a kind is composed of three cards of the same rank. The Ace can count as a high card or low card. Straight: A hand of five cards in consecutive ranking, that may or may not include an Ace, without regard to suit. An Ace may be used to complete a straight flush or an Ace-2-3-4-5 straight. In decreasing order, the rank of the cards is as follows: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. Texas Hold’em is played with a standard fifty-two card deck.
